Only us folks from Cincinnati think escaping to Florida to get a little relief from the humidity makes total sense. Colby and Greg get it! They ditched the Midwest and headed down south to pull off a remarkably classic and intimate destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton Tiburon Naples. Florida has been a longtime favorite getaway for both the couple and their families – so it was meant to be!
There was an abundance of white flowers lining the aisle, the altar, the tables and more… and sticking with simple neutral tones throughout the ceremony from décor to the bridal party meant all eyes were on the happy couple. And let me just say, I think I was just as wowed as Greg was the first time I saw Colby – what a GORGEOUS bride! Her dress, her hair, her makeup… absolute perfection. The wedding arch they exchanged vows under was intertwined with, you guessed it, more flowers! It created the perfect border for the romantic and candid photos you can only hope for on your wedding day.
What made their destination wedding so fun and personal was that not only did Colby’s uncle Ted officiate, but the whole party let loose and enjoyed Greg’s very own brand of tequila! Tonya Malay Photography was on hand to capture every little detail. Enjoy!
About the Bride & Groom:
How did you meet?
We met through mutual friends at a popular restaurant in downtown Cincinnati, Nada.
How did you choose your wedding colors?
We did neutrals. I wanted a clean, classic look, so I did mostly white and ivory flowers with gold accents in the reception hall.
What was the most memorable moment of your Destination Wedding?
I loved every moment of our wedding, but one moment that stood out the most was walking down the aisle. It all felt real at that moment. And, it felt like it was Greg and I for the first time that week.
