There is so much I love about this gorgeous whimsical wedding inspiration in Stockholm, Sweden that I hardly know where to start. Wedding photographer Linda-Pauline collaborated with an absolutely amazing group of vendors to bring her vision of a bohemian garden wedding to life. Every detail had a whimsical feel including lots of pink silk ribbons, naked cakes, and the most gorgeous bouquet made of pastel peonies.
The beautiful bride wore a stunning two-piece dress designed by SensibleM with a lace top and flowy skirt. Her hair, with its soft waves and hair crown is the perfect style for a destination wedding. You’ll find tons of inspiration in these photos and I’d like to thank this very amazing group of vendors for sharing this gem with us!
Q&A with the Photographer
What was the theme of this shoot?
The theme of this styled shoot was pink bohemian garden and whimsical wedding. I found Tyresö Castle in Stockholm when I was photographing a couple this spring and I totally loved it. It is just perfect for wedding photos! I wanted to use a lot of pink to get the sweet feeling of summer.
Can you tell us more about the location of the shoot and why you chose it?
Tyresö Castle has everything in the same place–views, large trees, cute houses, and a lot of stone. I’m gonna keep on photographing at this gorgeous place because it is the perfect wedding venue.
Tell me about the details
Leticia Taveres from LeBeauty in Stockholm made the bride Amira look so pretty with curly hair and large eyelashes. And the groom Niklas told me “This is her day”, like it was their real wedding day. We all hope he propose soon so that we can be apart of their real day. I think Amira truly felt like a princess with all the cameras around her. The flowers were made by a talented flower shop in Stockholm. The colors were perfect, especially with the ribbons we added!
The table setting had a lot of vintage details from my home. I’m a collector of vintage plates and cups, so my friend Ulrika made this setting for us. I bought an old desk to use as the table, and Prettypaper designed some pink paper goods.
The bride’s two piece dress was made by SensibleM, a new Swedish brand. They make two piece dresses that you can mix and match together any way you want. Big tulle skirts, a lot of silk are perfect for a whimsical wedding and looks gorgeous in the wind!
