A Bold and Romantic Spanish Wedding Inspiration

Jessica from Uptown Events teamed up with a talented group of vendors to pull together a Spanish wedding inspiration that is going to blow you away!   It is overflowing with rich colors, elaborate designs, and pure romance.  I’m so excited to share this gem.  Just wait until you see the stunning photos shot by Allison Jeffers!

When we asked Jessica to tell us about the inspiration behind the shoot, she said: “The theme was Romance at a Spanish Villa. My vision was primarily inspired by the venue. I wanted to incorporate a destination wedding atmosphere and Garden Grove’s gorgeous architecture influenced the Spanish design.  I felt the ambiance was perfect for a destination wedding concept. The ornate iron gates and Mediterranean tile roof set the tone for the iron candelabras and terracotta vases that popped throughout the shoot.”

I think that you will all agree with me when I say that in every detail big and small, they absolutely nailed it!  First of all, the mix of burgundy, coral, and dusty pink flowers added pops of natural beauty throughout – from the bouquets to the aisle to the tablescapes.  And the insanely good-looking bride and groom rocked the perfect attire for a romantic Spanish wedding inspiration. The groom wore a deep burgundy velvet jacket that was trendy and effortless while the bride’s sexy deep back plunging dress and mantilla veil made her look straight up angelic. They tied the whole aesthetic together – classic but unique, pretty but sultry, romantic but fun.

And in my opinion, the real MVP of this shoot was that kick-ass cake. No dainty, frilly white cake here! Daring to go big or go home, Christy at Cakes Rock! took the color scheme to heart and created a beautiful and unique treat.
