Smoky Mountain Destination Wedding

The wedding was intimate and elegant with a charm that somehow only a classic southern wedding can manage.

Their soft peach and sage green color palette allowed the natural beauty surrounding them to shine – dense forests, the gardens of the resort, and the pinks of the sunset peeking over the city below.

Christopher Place Resort allowed them to escape the crowds of the city and stay in a gorgeous antebellum bed and breakfast with stunning views of the Rockies right outside their window. Tell us a little a bit about your destination wedding vision.

We dreamed of having a small wedding and spending the day with those we loved most. We loved the intimate but beautiful atmosphere of Christopher place.

Tell us about your attire choices.

The groom and groomsmen wore navy suits and I wore a fitted mermaid style wedding dress.

What was the most important to the two of you while planning?

We knew we wanted a beautiful location and we loved having the mountain views as the backdrop for our vows.

What was the best part of having a destination wedding?

We loved spending time with our loved ones.

What was the biggest challenge of planning your destination wedding?

Getting RSVP’s back and last minute travel changes for guests
