Why did you choose to elope at the Whitestone Inn?

I found it online and thought it was perfect! I loved the New England feel and how competitively priced the elopement packages were.

Why did you decide to elope?

This was the second marriage for both my husband and I. We decided instead of having a wedding to entertain everyone else, we would elope and do exactly what we wanted!

Tell us about your unique bouquet.

I actually found my flowers at ecoower.com! I loved the idea of having flowers that are made from natural materials and will last forever! The colors stemmed from the flowers which were blush and burlap.

Was there something unique or special that you incorporated into your elopement at Whitestone Inn?

I had personalized leather journals made from Etsy. We wrote our vows in each other’s so we would always have them to reflect on throughout our marriage.

What was your favorite wedding detail and why?

All of it. It was absolutely perfect in every way. I wish I could relive it over and over again.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Seeing my love, waiting for me at the alter, ready to commit himself to me… that was the best.

What was your favorite part of your elopement at Whitestone Inn?

Knowing that it was just the two of us, and once our vows were said we could go back to our room, cuddle and relax and not have to entertain anyone.

What was the biggest challenge in planning your elopement at the Whitestone Inn?

Letting go of control…

What’s your advice to other couples planning an elopement wedding?

Do it! Best decision, hands down!
