Rooftop Destination Wedding in Playa Del Carmen

I’m kind of obsessed with rooftop destination weddings. I think there is no better setting if you’re looking for a spectacular view of the ocean without having to set foot in the sand. So when I saw photos of Joanie and Stephane’s intimate destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen, I was hooked.

The couple had a rooftop destination wedding and their decor was jam-packed with lovely details in gorgeous shades of lavender and purple that just popped against the turquoise ocean. And the bride totally took advantage of the fact that she didn’t have to walk down a sandy aisle by rocking some killer stilettos!

Of all the destination weddings I feature, my favorites are always those that not only capture all the pretty details, and the destination’s natural beauty, but also the couple’s spirit. This album checked all the boxes. It is evident as soon as you look through these photos that this was one cool, loving, and fun couple who had an absolutely amazing destination wedding!
