Gawwwwwwwwgeous (totally a word) was my first and only thought while I flipped through the photos of Karina and Jeffrey’s luxurious destination wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun. Their pre-ceremony pics alone look surreal– that’s how flawless they are. From the shots of the bridesmaids dipping their toes in the glistening shore to the couple’s “first look” shots nestled among palm trees… this wedding was visually stunning from the start. The bride and groom weren’t the only ones looking their best though – Karina’s bridal party wore flowing sky-blue dresses that mimicked the gorgeous blue sky that day – not a cloud in sight!
Something else I noticed that was really nice… was that while destination weddings are innately nontraditional, Karina and Jeffrey were able to still incorporate what was needed to pull off a traditional Jewish ceremony. You’re still YOU on your wedding day – so shout out to Dreams Riviera Cancun for the assist!
My favorite details were in the gazebo. Everything from the dazzling chandelier to the ethereal drapery and beautiful flowers made it exquisitely romantic to exchange vows under. Not to mention they did it on the beach… at sunset. Just wow! This was a truly dreamy ceremony. Just peep all the amazing photos captured by PlayaWeddings to see what I mean. Even the chairs had long white trains on them!
As exciting as their reception may have been – Karina and Jeffrey’s guests finished strong… ending the night by JUMPING IN THE POOL! Award for chilliest bride & groom in existence goes to Karina & Jeffery for giving zero F’s about a wet bridal party making a literal splash at their wedding. Mazel Tov!
