A Destination Wedding in St Lucia with Stunning Views of The Piton Mountains

I’m so psyched about sharing today’s featured destination wedding in St Lucia.  Maybe, a little more than usual and I’ll tell you why.   As soon as I got engaged, I knew that I wanted a destination wedding, but I had no idea where the “destination” would be.  The world was my oyster as they say.  So I started searching high and low for that perfect spot.  The very first location that caught my eye and took my breath away was St Lucia.

I was instantly captivated by the majestic Piton Mountains, and I so badly wanted to say my vows with THAT surreal scenery as my backdrop.  Alas, for reasons outside of my control, I couldn’t tie the knot in St. Lucia.  But it’s always held a special place in my heart for being my first choice.  And ever since I started this blog, I’ve been waiting to publish that perfect destination wedding that captures the special beauty of St Lucia.  I’m happy to report that I finally found it, thanks to the talented team at Valerie & Co. Photographers who did an amazing job of capturing Anna and Jonathan’s beautiful destination wedding in St Lucia.

Anna & Jonathan tied the knot surrounded by clear blue water, mountains, lush exotic plants and only their closest family.  Anna decorated with tropical plants native to the island, mostly in shades of pink.   The couple held their reception in the open aired Le Gallerie Villa overlooking Soufriere Bay and the Piton Mountains.   They had their first dance at dusk and their guests sent them off to their honeymoon by releasing giant, floating lanterns off the side of the villa over the bay.  This is exactly the kind of dreamy destination wedding I always envisioned someone having in St Lucia.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
