When asked how Cynthia and Chris met, they answered with one word – fate. They originally met through friends and both agree there was an instantaneous connection. Perhaps it was fate that brought them together, but their story continued to blossom over the years until they found themselves saying their “I dos” on the sands of Punta Cana. The pair had always wanted to wed with a backdrop of palm trees, turquoise waters, and soft white sand – so a destination wedding in Dominican Republic was only natural. After visiting several different resorts, the couple fell in love with The Fountains at Now Larimar Punta Cana and, without a second thought, they decided that’s where they’d soon tie the knot.
Going with the theme of tropical elegance, the baby blue and coral wedding details brought out the beauty behind their inspiration. The pair’s wedding was surely a day—and night—to remember! After an intimate ceremony by The Fountains, the group moved over to Castaways to really get the party started. In fact, the reception was so much fun that Chris’ exuberant dance moves caused him to split his pants – but that didn’t stop him from having the best time of his life!
Following the wedding day, the newlyweds had the chance to take their family and friends on a group pirate ship excursion for a day of fun in the sun. These newlyweds could only describe their destination wedding experience in one way – “Best. Time. Ever.”
